Learning English Language

In 2007, people start to learn second language more than the past that over 1 billion people are currently learning English world wide. They want to have a good quality life. Then they realize that English is an international language, for country they usually uses English language to communicate together. There are three reasons to learn English. These include promotions at work, increased knowledge, and travel benefit.

The first reason to learn English is promotions at work. It is the fact that English skill is important for find job. If they can speak English which is second language very well, they are the first persons that the company will consider of vacant position of company. Then they will receive high salary and good position. They don’t have problem to communicate with foreign partner or to visit in abroad.

The second reason to learn English is increased knowledge. They can study dissertation abroad to do their project such as science, biology, and business. Then they can receive express news in abroad by internet or CNN channel on TV. For example, the investor will read news about trend of international economic that has affected their stock.

The third reason to learn English is travel benefit. They can save money because the price for travel abroad by packet tour is more expensive than travel by themselves. They can choose to save money of hotel and food while they travel abroad. They have more freedom because they don’t have problem to communicate with other. They can travel Europe, American and Australia. All of these countries speak English. They will receive. Guide tours usually have same program tour, so they don’t go some interesting place. They can go by themselves in this place.

In conclusion, learning English is good opportunity in their life. It has been affected in future. They can get good position and high income. They have several channels to research new information. They can decrease of business by following international news. They have more experience to travel.

What are you going to do over the 3 day weekend?

The 3 day weekend

I had 3 day weekend because Monday is Veteran day. The first time, I didn’t have plan to go outside on this weekend. I just wanted to clean my home on Saturday and read textbook for TOEFL test on Sunday. I hope that everything will follow my plan. Something of my plan changed a little bit on Sunday. My sister wanted to eat Thai breakfast. It call Joke which is a rice gruel soup cooked with meal. Then I went to eat Joke at LA. After then, I went to buy books and vegetable at Thai town. Finally, I came home around 5 pm, so I did not read grammar textbook on Sunday.

What three things are you most thankful for

Three things are most thankful on Thanksgiving Day. The first is my family. They take care of me since I was born. They teach lot of thing about opinion, inspiration and life. Then I know that I can choose the right way in future. The second is my friends. They help me when I can’t do something by myself. The third is my experience passing in my life. I can learn a lot of my mistake and develop to direct way. Finally, I thank everything around me

It is ever okay to lie

It is okay to lie in situation. The first, to lie helps someone, but another person doesn’t receive affect of problem. The second, to lie reduce pressure of persons who fight together such as friend, partner and family. The third, to lie helps yourself. Sometime you have to find a job but you didn’t have completely quality so you stop to tell you story to manager.

Myself

It isn’t matter what everyone thinks about me, because I know myself what I am doing. I think that I have free will. I can do anything I’m wanted to do if it is good for myself. I don’t care others because they don’t know my reason why I do or choose the way. In addition, when I have a problem, I have to accept a trouble and find the solution by myself. In the other hand, I still care persons around me depending on the relationship and the situation. If I am involved in something with others which it has had an effect to them, I usually think many results of the event. I want to make sure that I choose a best way to correspond with them.

The Ring

A student, Mary, wanted to rent an apartment, so she walked all day long and finally found an old apartment. She decided to rent it because it was cheaper than the others. She moved into the apartment and settled everything as usual. One week later, she had a worker install a telephone line. However, she found that the phone didn’t work well. She couldn’t call for anyone and the phone never rang. So she decided to all a repairman to fix the phone line, but at the same time she got a phone call from an old lady who asked to speak to someone named Lucy. Mary told her that she had the wrong number. After that day, the old lady kept calling every night at the same time and always asked for Lucy. One day at midnight, the phone was ringing again. Mary finally couldn’t stand it, so she decided to pull the wire from the wall. She immediately moved the sofa away and looked for the plug. However, after she found it, she noticed that the wire was not plugged in. Mary wondered how this was possible. Then the phone rang again. She nervously answered the phone. The old woman asked for Lucy. Mary asked who Lucy was. The old woman said, “Look behind you.”

ALP had Halloween Dance Party at TSU Pub on last Saturday. I went to the party with my friend, Peach. The Halloween party was 8.30 pm to midnight. After I went into the party, I saw a lot of people. Some people came in as a ghost. Someone did not wear Halloween costume, but they just wore normal clothes. I met some of my classmate and my professors such as Tyler, Carol, Van, Gloria, Dung, Ozgur, Kaitlyn and Choae. We enjoy eating, taking photo and dancing together. I left around 11 pm with Peach. I think that the Halloween party is amusing. I had never been the party like this before I came here. In my opinion, I think Carol costume is the scariest.
